First dose of Avonex... finished

My sweet hubby just gave me my injection. It wasn't as bad as I thought. I will be happy after I graduate to the pen!

lol I just in boxed you :) Nope this is my first form of treatment :) He was sweating by the time it was over :) But he did it. Let me know how it goes!

I think I should be ok with the injection, as we had to inject with Copaxone ?  Have you taken anything like that before ?   I can't remember, sorry ...

Good for your hubby, lots of hubbies could not do that...

Yayy!  The first one is always so scary.  It keeps getting easier.  Did you take some Ibuprofen and a big glass of water?  Did you do it just before going to sleep for the night?  Those strategies always helped when I took Rebif (same med, 3x/week).

Congratulations! Also to your husband! I can do it to myself, but I'd be terrified to do it to my fella. Yes, I think the pen will give you a little more comfort and flexibility when it comes to doing it yourself. And some of it just comes with time. But this is a big deal! You're now giving yourself the best chance at things. Take it easy this weekend.
