It is so nice to hear that your colleagues are willing to accommodate you like that. I wish all workplaces were so supportive. There seem to be a number of people here for whom that is not the case. Many people with MS could work so much longer, and more productively, if only more employers were supportive. I don't understand why they aren't, other than sheer ignorance. There is such a strong business case to retain good employees who happen to have some physical limitations, that are often easily worked around with a little creativity and cooperation. Your situation is a great example of that.

That is a great quote. It reminds me of a quote I've always liked from Kierkegaard:
Where am I? Who am I? How came I here? What is this thing called the world? What does this world mean? Who is it that has lured me into the world? Why was I not consulted, why not made acquainted with its manners and customs instead of throwing me into the ranks, as if I had been bought by a kidnapper, a dealer in souls? How did I obtain an interest in this big enterprise they call reality? Why should I have an interest in it? Is it not a voluntary concern? And if I am to be compelled to take part in it, where is the director? I should like to make a remark to him. Is there no director? Whither shall I turn with my complaint?
(this is the Wikiquote translation from http://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/S%C3%B8ren_Kierkegaard; I used to have one I liked better, but am not finding it at the moment)

On a side note of workplace accommodations: I currently share an office with another manager who likes the room warm. I have terrible heat intolerance. One of my staff suggested, and the higher up's are doing it, that they move me to a different office with just me and my AC! How awesome is that? Staff are willing to add a person to their office to free up an office for me - makes ya misty! Granted, it will also give my staff easier access to me, as there will not be someone else in there, but it still counts;) It also means that when they come in to m/ with me they'll need to wear their parkas, especially in August!
