Sounds like you did the walk justice and I am feeling soooo proud to know someone with the guts and stamina you have shown! Congratulations on a job well done honey!
Lots of feet rubbing hugs,
Rena
How'd it go?
You are an inspiration to ALL!!!!!

Shell,
Congratulations Miss Peacock!!! You go girl.
I am feeling warm and fuzzy and proud. Thank you!!! Be sure to take extra time pampering yourself for the next few days. You need it after 6 miles and you deserve it.
Thanks again
Erin :)
I'll be walking with you in spirit. Do me one favor please take one of those steps for me and then tell me what it felt like. Without some kind of miracle I don't see myself walking again. The balance issues are just to many. Don't get me wrong, by no means am I giving up. I will fight it til the end, but reality is still all around me. Shell, you are an awesome woman and I will take a bow in your honor.
I'll be praying,
'Carol
Great going, girl. I think this is wonderful.
I'd love to sign up for our local walk, but assuming I even made it the 6 miles (big assumption), my legs would be a mess and I'd be exhausted for the next 3 days.
But YOU did it! Take an extra bow on us.
Hugs,
ess
I knew there was a reason I was extra hungry tonight - six miles will do it everytime!
thanks - go soak your feet!

Thank you Shell, I feel better already!
Q ;))
And Rena and others are so right, Shell--you are a tribute to MS as you go hip-bumping along respresenting all of us! Thank you Ms Peacock with the special stride! xo Jane
Hi there,
Thank YOU all! Really, you all have taught me so very much! And, the love and kindness is like no other here.
It was a nice day. Didn't get there at 0900 to start w/the whole pack and we started about an hour into it. The weather was kind to us as the wind was chilly, but totally bearable. It was a little over 6 miles.
I felt you all there with me, really I did, and I was proud as a peacock.
Thank you again,
Shell
The time lag always makes me late with comments but my thoughts are with you.
All the best
Pat

Shell,
Thanks from all of us. Any way to bring attention to the cause :) !!
I can't walk that far but am proud to say that both of my children, 4 nephews, 1 niece and several friends are walking "for" me in May. I am so touched I could cry.
Make us proud and thanks again
Hugs,
Erin :)
I'll be thinking about you. I'm "walking" next week. Actually, riding my scooter. I can't walk nearly that far or long. I pray that all goes well.
Thanks Shell,
I'll be walking alongside you in spirit.

You are the sweetest most compassionate woman...do you know that? Do people tell you that all the time? Because if they don't, they should and kudos to you for having the bravery and ability to walk...it's a whole lot more than I or a lot or us could do and, if I may, I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of us that have MS .
Let us know how you make out shell...we will be thinking of you honey!
Lots of Hugs (and a new pair of sneakers too),
Rena
