Is Toe and Head pain an MS symptom?

Has anyone experienced toe pain with MS?  I have horrible toe pain and most recent, head pain that feels like the same kind of pain with occasional buzzing, always the left side.  My thigh was buzzing a few days ago, newest symptom for me.  My doctor ordered an MRI, but my insurance denied it and now I'm waiting..

Hi Gemsrose,

Welcome to the forum, I haven't been on the forum for a few weeks, so sorry if you had a welcome, sorry if I missed it.

Best advice I can give you is not to worry about MS. Doctor should give you a thorough physical examination. There can be many causes of what you describe, and hopefully it's something that is identified easily, and can be fixed.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for info, it's usually the big toe on the left side, sometimes 2nd or 3rd toe.  Anyone else?

Thank you for the information. In the last few days I have had the feeling that someone is hitting my right big toe on the top of the toenail with a hammer. I have also had this with the fourth toe on my right foot where it connects to the foot. Outlandish as it sounds, it is very painful and disconcerting when it happens. Coincidentally, I also have stabbing pain in the base of the skull on the right side as well as the jaw and temple on the right side of my head.  Next time it happens I will take my shoe off and do as you suggested whether I'm at work or not!

I have just begun the journey of finding out what is going on with me, so I have no idea at this point. I have been referred to a neurologist and see him on the 31st. I ignored the vertigo and other symptoms as long as I could. Time to get my head out of the sand.

Thank you,

Minnie

Which toe is it? In accupunture the toes are your brains. If you have toe pain gently massage it until the pain subsides. if it is in the length of your big toe then that mean the pain is coming from the neck area. gentle wiggle it using your fingers in circular motions.
I'd advise you to look into the homeopathic circle. For help! They can advise you and give you correls like tiny tablets of normal chemicals or vitamines the body is missing.
A scan does not help anything as there is much that a scan does not see and is costly and does nothing to change things around for you.
Therefore I would look into homeopathic remedies. They take longer to get a result but when they  get to the problem, you'll be walking on air.
