Good for a Laugh..What is yours?

I posted this in response to Pastor Dan's post.  Then I thought we can all use a good laugh, even if it is at ourselves.

So what is the funniest story you want to share about your struggle?  I have plenty but I guess this one will do.

Not long ago, when the rain wouldn't stop, it began to flow across the road at the end of our hollow.  You had to drive through to get out, which I did.

So here I am going through the water and I am hearing it spray onto the bottom of the car.  Suddenly I felt water spraying on my feet.  I quickly looked down because I thought...shoot, I've got a hole in my floorboard.  Not likely it is a 2004 and it would have had to have been an awful big hole....the kind you fall through.

The joke is my brain heard the water spraying the bottom of the car so I assume it thought I should feel the wetness on my legs...lol

enjoy,  terry

While traveling 100 mile for my neuro appoinment (every 6 months)

I had a (how do i write this?)  accident and we had to take a motel for 3 hours.

Of course it was around lunch time, but I needed to take a shower and wash my

clothes.  It was summer and we had to put the heat on in the motel to dry my clothes

I am sure you can imagine what it looked like.  It was the cheapest motel we could find  What a costly and embarassing day. I had to laugh or I would have cried.

The funniest thing is we never go on vacation to a motel Can't afford it, lol

They say that you know you've matured if, when you find yourself down on the floor, you look around to see what else you can do while you're down there before trying to get yourself back up.

I was having really bad spasms for days and everyone here has always said to try and stretch and it will sometimes help.

Well, I was at home by myself and managed to get down on the floor, stretched for about 15-20 mins, then tried to get up..................NOPE...............AIN"T GONNA HAPPEN!!!!!

So, ended up crawling on all 4's and since I have lots of problems with my arms too, it took me another 15-20 mins to get myself up off the floor, onto the couch.

Really bothered me at first and then I though what a picture I made crawling around on the floor and grunting and trying to pull myself up on the couch.......hahahaha

Thank goodness no one WAS home!!!  Needless to say I do NOT get down on the floor anymore.....hahaha
