I'm wondering if I'm having an actual exacerbation instead of a pseudo one from the ingrown toenail infection?
I noticed when I woke up this morning that my stomach was upset; figured I shouldn't have eaten that peppermint ice cream/hot fudge sundae last night. :o) I got up and spent some time on line, and noticed my eyes were jittery again. I decided to go downstairs for a bowl of cereal, turned to grab some laundry from the top of the stairs, and almost fell down the stairs.
The cereal didn't do me any favors, and the dizziness seemed to increase. I read some of the newspaper, but it was kind of hard to focus. I watched a movie, then had some toast for lunch. My balance is off, and I dropped or knocked over my water bottle several times; luckily I close the lid. I feel a little shaky, like when my tremors were effecting my trunk; my hands are just a little shaky.
I decided to go upstairs and lie down a read. My eyes didn't want to read, so I closed them. The jittery vision and dizziness continued even with my eyes closed. I tried to observe all this objectively, and decided that it was what I used to consider "whirly vision", but with my eyes closed, the vision part didn't fit.
I drifted in and out, slept some, and decided to get up and write about this. I still have the nerve pain, though I'm taking Tegretol. I took Tegretol in the past without it making me dizzy. I guess there are no new symptoms, just the old ones showing up again. I've been doing my vestibular physical therapy exercises, but so far they aren't helping.
I have a concert to go to tomorrow at 2pm; the last time Laura Love was in town I wasn't able to go because of symptoms, and the tickets were paid for, as they are this time. I WILL go tomorrow!
I guess I'm just whining. Thanks for listening.
