You have my complete sympathy. Symptoms with no answer is a horrible place to be!! It's hard enough being a new mom!!
When Lupus appears, it often does so after having a child. Have you considered lupus? Very hard to diagnose it.
Also, Lyme disease can mimic all neurologic illnesses - can involve numbness and pain too - but it is essential to go to a Lyme-literate doctor for a valid workup for Lyme (see my post today 04/04).
Good luck to you!!

Sjogrens is a mimic of MS, so it might mean that you are back to more testing. I can hear you moan at that idea, but it is so important that the treatment you are receiving is for the right disease.
It could be both, and that does happen, but from what I know having two autoimmune disorders like this is unusual but not rare.
I just wonder is this disease ms or this sjogrens disease. Or now both
Good morning,
You have every right and reason to be angry. This is such a frustrating disease and to have something else piled onto the diagnosis would really make me pissed, too. BTW, do you know in Britain that word means drunk and not angry?
The problem with MS and most things neurological is it all takes time. Everything seems to move slowly - appointments, tests, therapy, changes in our condition... it is like the clock almost stops.
Keep working at all the things the therapist and doctors have you doing. It does make a difference even if it doesn't feel like it right now.
And be as angry as you want at this damn disease - it takes a while to figure out how to take control and live with it and anger is definitely part of that journey. don't let this disease cheat you out of the happy moments with your son.
we're here to listen - be sure to let us know how you are doing.

And last night my hand starts contacting it scared the **** out of me. My right eye was hurting like I had something in it. I'm only at the beginning what's next. Why do I have to suffer. Having a child is supposed to be a blessing not a curse.
