I think I might have MS

First off I need to say I didn't have any of these problems until January 2014! I had been having some anxiety issues, and was giving a script for Ativan (lorazapam) I took this medication for about 2-3 weeks. It was only 1 mg once a day, but I  was taking it daily for panic attacks. I would notice if I skipped a few days I would get nausea, and throw up with a bad headace. So I took it a few more days then finally said enough is enough. That is when all over body twitching started 24/7....... Then I had some really weird feeling in my upperarms. They feel like how your muscles feel if they have been worked out to fatigue. It kinda is uncomfortable beacuse they feel heavy. They have a vibration inside like the muscles are shaking very light, but its super annoying. I have tried magnesium it didn't help. I also find its worse when the weather is snowing or raining. I also have been getting charly horses in my neck muscles, and my tougne feels swollen. I have went to the ER they said I was fine after giving me a hand eye cordination test. Been to my Dr close to 8 times. I have had a ANA test, Reactive C, CBC, Executive panel, hormones, vit d, vit b12 (high 972)..... Everything always comes back fine. Three months later, and I am still dealing with this. Its not normal. Dr's tell me its anxiety. I know how anxiety feels. I want a MRI, but they say no. I worry about MS or ALS. I am 32 yr old female, and healthy weight. I don't smoke or drink.

Sounds like med withdrawal to me... I know stopping those kinds of meds without weaning can cause the symptoms you describe even after only a short time on tgem. You may want to consider fibromyalgia, too. I have that and notice I get very achey when barometric pressure changes. Good luck and ask for a neuro rrferral...

I do great on reflexes, tracking eye stuff. This all hit me after taking ativan, so I have no clue if its a withdraw issue, all I know is I don't feel right. Side effects of coming off of benodiazipines, are muscle twitching, and inner vibrations. I just have a hard time wraping my head around it since I was only taking it for 3 weeks. I mean I could understand having withdraw if I was taking it longer then a month, and still 3 months later I still have issues. Thank You for responding Alex

May be see a Neurologist? PCP are not as eager to order a MRI. How do you do on a basic Neurological exam, reflexes, tracking eye, etc.?
