Thank You All

I personally want to take this morning to send thanks out to those forum members both new and veteran, who contribute selflessly their precious time, share their knowledge, and extend support and advice without ill motives.
It keeps us healthly.

When we are down in the outs, faced with confrontation, limitated or in pain, or simply sharing good times and new info, you are all here in one way or another.

This speaks to your genuine character and nature and real passion for the health of our forum family and each other. I'm proud to be apart of your lives.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you today and always,
-Shell

I may not post much any more but I still read up on everyone. I've been with this forum a long time now and can't say enough for the wonderful care and support everyone here brings.

I don't really belong here anymore being a permanent limbo lander but I know that I still can pop in when something is going on and everyone is quick to be there. I mean where else can you go and have someone like Quix start a bedtime story when I was having a bad night and everyone else jump on board and made it such an incredible story.

I've made some incredible friends here and I thank each and everyone one of you for always being there. This forum is the best!!!!

Hugs
Moki

Shell,

Hi! I don't know if I missed something (like usual, lol) or if today is a SPECIAL day but I just wanted to to say thank you for all of your support here.

You are a doll and I smile when I see your posts pop up. So for whatever reason you chose to say thanks - back at you!!!

Hugs,
Erin :)

I actually think there is something uniquely special about this forum, an all in type of mentality that holds us all together. I say unique because other topic forums dont seem to have the same flavour or bonded friendships. I've tried to put my finger on what that flavour is and it seems that here we really do listen to each other, and care!

I really believe what keeps me coming back day after day, is much more than the MS journey and knowing that someone else understands. It's each of YOU that brings me back, i can think of no other reason but YOU!

Cheers.......JJ

Heather, I couldn't agree with you more in terms of "The best group on the Internet".

This forum has such a mix of everything and I learn something everyday. It is also one of the most active, tightly knit communities in all the forums on this site. I've posted in other forums and see no real activity. Here, usually just one bump will get at least one response.

So what I have gained from this community?

A tremendous amount of medical knowledge and tips to assist me with doctor's visits and tests.

Support from others, whether it be sx or personal issues.

Insight into what I can and cannot do to deal with some of my sx, based on the experiences of others.

Gratitude to, and admiration of, others for having the courage to share some intimate details of traditionally "unmentionable" topics that open the door for others to know that they are not alone and to break down barriers and share their own experiences as well.

A huge feeling of camaraderie. This group is so tight in supporting one another and also welcoming of newcomers with open arms and hugs. The personalities are so diverse, yet the group is so cohesive. You all give so many hugs! When we are feeling low, nothing feels better than a hug.

A deepened sense of compassion and empathy, along with the opportunity to express it.

I've just recently restarted the journey 6 months ago to dx symptoms that have been with me for more than 8 years. As I go further along the process with Dr.s and my sx seem not to abate, I spend more time on this forum. It is a great place for me, where I can both give and take.

Thank you all for making this such a great place!

Audrey

P.S.- I too never vote for a best answer. Wish that they would get rid of it!
