Cinnamon rolls are my second favorite thing in the world.  I remember when I used to weigh more than a car...I would eat the ones made by Pillsbury and eat the WHOLE CAN.

I'll bet the smell is your house last night was Heavenly.  Sorry I missed it.

Yummmmyyyy,

All that talk of sugary sweet (cheese cake/ ice cream/ doughnuts etc...) got me going yesterday. I told my husband about this thread and it made him hungry too!! I started to crave all of it. Bad, bad, girls.

First thing when my mom gets back from vacation, I'm borrowing her ice cream maker and making homemade ice cream. It's the old crank kind but it's oh so yummy. At least your work pays off. I did get something sweet last night. Since I got hubby going, he made cinnamon rolls. HAHA!

6-paq- a moon pie is a chocolate covered cake with marshmallow filling.

Let's all meet over at Quix's house for ice-cream.  Put in your orders now for your brand, so Quix can set the table for us all.  What do ya think Quix?  Could you stand a "few" house guests for ice-cream treats?

Now wouldn't that be fun, in all seriousness....all of us together in the home of our "Momma Bear?"  All together sharing girl and guy talk with one of our favorite ladies.  That in my opinion, would be awesome.  Quix, I promise that we will even clean up our sloppy messes.

We love ya Quix...you'll always be our Momma Bear...you have so many "little bears" that would love to meet you, including this "Earth Mother."

We've had alot of fun with this thread CJ...thanks for starting it sweetheart.  CJ you may say you love us, but honey, we love you too.

We all needed a day where we could laugh and just be silly.  Thanks for the fun....

Big Hugs,
Heather

You must not have read your diet instructions.  It DOES say one delicious, creamy, luscious doughnut per year...

I didn't drive all the way into town for a doughnut, so I stopped at the corner store and bought a freshly made, soft and chocolatie, huge, gorgeous brownie.  I was even licking the wrapper so I could get all the crumbs.  Gosh it was good.

Okay somewhere in here I seen cheesecake, it is way too hot for a doughnut.  How about a Cappucino Cheesecake, anybody?  Or a rich brownie with cream cheese frosting and ice cream on top?  I thought I was doing good eating grapes instead of sweets but now I might have to whip something up.

Darn it anyway!!!!  My mouth is watering and I don't have any cream cheese!!!! S-HIT!!!!

Many Grapeful Hugs,

Ada

Oh no, please do report back in.......preferrably unmelted.

An hour later, and I'm still laughing over all this ramblings, tummy rumblings, soon to be over sugar'd stumblings....

After almost 15 years of being a diabetic, dependent on insulin at one time, then the diabetes pill...I restricted myself from such sugar delights, as doughnuts.

Now that I have been told that I no longer need to take medication, because I am no longer considered an active diabetic, I wanted to indulge in something I gave up all those years....SO...I am going out in the this 100 degree heat and going to buy myself a chocolate eclair.  After indulging I vow NOT to take my blood glucose reading, since I know that it will terrify me....

So see you later....I am determined to staisfy my devilish desire for something full of Chocolate....

OMG, I haven't eaten donuts in years; they give me indigestion now.  Never crave them.

UNTIL NOW,  dang it!

My mom made home made donuts when I was little and they were one of the few things she did really well; applesauce donuts, buttermilk, ummmmm, with glaze, or maple or chocolate frosting.

Um, please may I have a donut?

LOL,

Kathy

OKAY - I'll have a Chocolate covered Eclaire (extra clotted cream - nice descript CJ ha/ha) AND a Soft Vanilla Ice Cream Cone w/chocolate sprinkles.

Come to think of it - it's so blazing hot, I'll take "two" and declare today:

"DOUGHNUT AND ICE CREAM JUSTIFICATION DAY!"

No matter how you have to get it, just get it!

How cruel! To talk about donuts, when us diabetics can't eat them!! One would be okay, but a choccy one and a jelly filled would be too much. Bet ya can't eat just one! LOL. I get scrambled eggs and sausage, no toast and jelly, bagel etc. CRUEL!!!!
(((((hugs)))))))) and smiles to all
