Tingling vibrations after short sleep

When I sleep for a very short period, maybe around 30 minutes to 2 hours, and get awoken, I always wake up with a sizzling, tingling and slightly painful vibrations on my hand up to my shoulders. Within a minute or two the whole feeling subsides with very slight movement. Please, at my 50 years of age, having experienced this for almost three years now,  is it normal ? Thanks

Hi - It sounds like what I experince when I sleep in a funky position and my arm goes to sleep. In general, MS symptoms do not improve/ease with movement.

Hi there,

Your question has landed in the MS community (which you may not have intended), if you only experience these sensations in a specific situation, then imho it could be anything from your sleeping position to a peripheral nerve compression issue but that type of thing wouldn't typically be consistent with MS.

Cheers.....JJ
