Just withing the last half hour

Let's see:

Spit water all over myself; glad it was not my coffee
dropped my lunch on the flood; struggled cleaning it up
walked into someone i could not see because i cannot see out of my left eye
fell down twice because my knee gave out
took forever to figure out how to get out of someone's way
could not  remember a college's name
sent email to the wrong person
cannot find my cell phone or keys, sure they will turn up
gave away a $10 bill instead a $1 bill
sat here trying to figure out to avoid having to do anything else
actually, that was the half hour before that; actually i spent most of the time trying to write this post.

Been there - today actually! Balance really bad right now, walking around like the proverbial drunken sailor. Had to change clothes right before leaving for work because I spilt (or spit, whichever works for you, lol) loose face powder all over myself, the bathroom, the dog. Still can't find where the darn thing landed!

Thankfully though I was alone. I am sorry you had these events in public. I've had them in public too. Get teased at work about it.

Hang in there.

Sounds like an ordinary day for most of us. lol  I know it's not funny but we all go through those days and some of us more frequent than others.  I really hate it for you but you need to be careful about the falling.  That could lead to something serious.  Maybe you should try using a cane.  I know, nobody wants to resort to that but if your knee is giving way on you a cane would be the best thing for right now anyway.

I'll be praying,
Carol

I am sorry for your bad day.  Did you find your cell phone and keys??  I left my cell phone in a sandwich shop one day.  Could not find it and called it.  The staff picked it up and told me where it was!!!

WOW! It is good to know that I am not the only drooler! My husband said that I will fit right in with my grandpa at the nursing home (losing hair, drooling, walking like an old lady-I'm 34). I hope that your day gets better!

You should be proud of me, I did it sans A.

I just found out they have scheduled my evoked potentials.  I'm hoping the vep will show what the opthalmologist hasn't seen.  I KNOW I've had ON, but, they keep saying they don't see anything.

I'm so sorry though, MCBCON, I hope things are better tomorrow.   :)  As much as they can be.

I also meant to say, sorry you are having such a tough time of it.  But, I got wrapped up in my own story, and forgot my sensitive side.  Sorry.

On a lighter note, it's a really good thing I keep editing what I type.  You have absolutely no idea how incredibly hard it is to NOT type MCBACON.  LOL  It's automatic, my brain keeps leading my finger to that darned A.  Sorry for that, too.  LOL

Hoping things improve for you.

So sorry to hear about the loss of your eyesight in that eye!  That is terrible and I didn't realize that could happen!

I am increasing my Lyrica today and the last time I took it I had severe vertical double vision and I could see my hubby's head, two totally clear heads on top of the other...well it was like that with everything and virtually couldn't see or do anything!

I am being very aware of things going on today...I haven't lost my eyesight but if I have this double vision I have to wear a patch on one eye in order to function soooo, I guess I can relate and it's not fun!!

I hope your day improves honey...if it's any consolation, I am sitting here with a hole in my head and a tooth in a box and it doesn't feel very good!  Wish we could be together to help each other though!

Take Care Honey!

No, actually I hadn't noticed, 'til you mentionned it, silly, LOL LOL.  AND, trust me, I'M the one who ALWAYS notices things like that.  But, my brain has been mush much of this last little bit.  LOL

I have been doing similar things.  So far, I haven't done anything I couldn't fix, phew.  LOL  I won't, at this point go into detail, as I really can't remember all the stupid things I've done, 'til someone triggers my memory.

Oh, well, at least I'm not forced to work, even without a diagnosis.  I couldn't possibly keep my house and feed myself if I had to expend the brain and physical energy to my previous job.  I'd explode. LOL  Don't get me wrong, I liked my job, the ppl I worked for and with.  I am still friends with them.  I just know I am incapable of performing my duties, and I know they know, too.

They were very good to me, really.

Tell me, have you ever dispensed liquid soap. from the container on the sink, onto your toothbrush, instead of using the toothpaste in the tube in the cupboard behind the mirror?  So far I've caught myself before sticking it into my mouth, but, I know there will come a day.....

LOL

good luck with tomorrow

The ON was in 2004 i think, yes they did the steroids.  It did nerve damage and I lost almost all the vision in that eye.

Sure , I figured you either laughed or choked ...
This remembering words is for the birds. It happens more every day. Yesterday I couldn't figure out how to use my power saw. I was a contractor , in my past life , Restoring historic building . Then furniture making ....  the use of a saw was second nature ??  It did come back but what a shock at first..

The cog . stuff is the hardest..  !!

Jo      PS...  writing more than a paragraph take at least a half hour ..  We look so good on paper .... Quix calls it smoke and mirrors  so true

Well I have spit water all over myself before it someone made me laugh but I have also spilt water all over myself!

Sounds like you are having a bit of a busy day!

I doubt that anyone noticed that you spilt the water and so what if they did...we all do it at one time or another...

I gather you are at work and you haven't told anyone what is going on with you yet right?

Is ON the reason you can't see out of your eye?

Has your dr. suggested steroid treatment for it?

Does your dr. even know you can't see out of your left eye or are you pretending it's not happening or what?

I wish I could be there to help cover for you but is it true that no one knows what the problem is?
