I forgot to mention, that in addition to liking opera, I also have listened to reggae for years, so you forever to me will be Dub V
To answer you previous question, they said I may have some more GoGo juice (a.k.a. IV steriods) tomorrow on my visit with N3 also probably schedule a Brain/cervical WITH contrast! Yay, finally after 7 years of this craziness.

Laura,
You know the book Men are from Mars, Women from Venus...? In my case I am from the planet Vulcan where Mr. Spock of Star Trek fame hailed from... I am the servant of logic, so I yielded to the logic that was presented to me by the denizens of this fine community! :-) I had pointed ears too, but they have shaken completely off!

I just got up from a several hour nap, so I am more rested for sure!

I am definitely getting proper attention tomorrow, even if I have to sit on the little man!
I'll keep y'all posted for sure!

I have experienced what you are describing, the lack of balance and banging into walls. Last year my balance was so poor it was scary to walk up or down a flight of stairs (no handrail, not very safe I know). In my case the balance thing was connected to my double vision.
I've had IV steroids twice and they really do act quickly to calm down the acute symptoms. I hope they work for you esp for the troubling vision problem you describe. By now the nasty metallic taste should be gone. If not, try candies or gum to mask the taste. Try to take it easy today and rest, even if those steroids have you hopping. Was the infusion a one shot deal, or are you returning to have more over the next few days?
I really hope that you get some proper attention from your neuro tomorrow. Keep us posted.
Hi there, I always enjoy your commits, you have quick Wit, about you!! ( No PUN intended) :-)
I can't tell you how many walls and doors I have ruined with my electric chair, which is why I don't use it in my small apt. I use the manual one when I am at home. I think I have judged the proper distance to get through the door way or clear a wall, and I'm wrong.. I try not to get distracted when I am tooling down the road... I hate it when I run over my own feet... It hurts..
Richard, stay in touch when you feel up to it... Rest...Rest...REST!!!!!!
Hugs to all of you on this beautiful, but Hot day...
I'm glad you went to the ER and hope the steriods kick in today and do their job. Let us know how you're doing when you get home from church.
Eye problems are one of my scariest symptoms, and I know how it makes you feel. Hang in there, Richard.
Quix, I never thought of the pinball thing, that is a perfect explaination!!!!
