What is happening to me??????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am 29 and at the beginning of 2012 while driving I had a really sharp pain in my chest that got worst and my heart hit my chest pretty hard and I got kinda of dizzy(been getting real dizzy for a few years now and even when I am sitting) so I went to the Hospital. I had many tests done from blood clots to different things like an ekg and I was montiored for hours(since my mom had a heart attack pretty early). Since I am not in my mid 30's or older they said I looked to be fine with no bladder infections and my white cell count was good so  no infection of any sorts that they could see(I guess thats what it meant). I have had anxiety since I was pre teen so it was assumed thats what might of been the problem and  they gave me a low dosage of valium and sent me on my way( I have not been on meds for anxiety in years because I learned how to deal with my anxiety with out the meds). Since then I had a second attack that started with my heart hurting I started to sweat and seem overly hot even with the AC on and a bottle of water next to me. Then my boding cramping up so bad. I got tingley all over (even my lips) and my fingers came together at the tips and wrist bending down while my arms bend all the way up (like Im flexing my biceps) and then pulling themselves to my chest and my legs doing the same thing( like the fetal Position almost) my legs never make it that far up though. I had to call emsa as the attack took form (otherwise) I would not been able to function) and they gave me oxygen too help me breath( since whatever was happening sent me into a panic attack and my breathing started to pick up to quickly) and allow my body to unfold its self since moving me was very hard because of the pain(assuming this was anxiety I told them I didn't want to go to the hospital)(Anxiety attacks never been this bad before). I was slow to recover from this attack I couldn't walk for several hours and left in pain on my left side mostly it took a few days to use my left arm again(it cradled to my chest ). Then a third attack happened a few weeks later but this time my chest did not hurt at all it just hit me. I felt my right hand cramp up first and fast. The rest followed immediately after. Then 2 seconds later my son is pulling the car over from the passenger side to get me out the drivers side because I can not function at all the pain is extremely horrible. Then I another attack this last Sunday(4 days after the last attack) with the same symptoms as before and I am still tring to feel normal. My left side still hurts and I feel really tired but no rest.My left arm, hand, and chest area hurts and is slowly being able to use it. My memory has always been sharp but in the last year my memory has been failing me. I don't even remember simple things like I just called my fiance an hour ago or the conversation we are having at the time or what were doing. Does this link to any of the symptoms also. I need advise on what any professonials think might be happening. Please help?  Could it be the Car, Stroke, ALS, or Calcium Deficiency(someone suggested this also) (I doubt that last one since Im a healthly athletic type who drinks her daily dosage of milk  fruits and veges) attacks have gotten more aggressive and more progressive and each time leaving me more messed up for longer after. Please give best advice.

Thank you for checking back in! I'm sorry for the diagnoses but pleased this is a step forward for you. Even if you're getting a second opinion to make sure (never a bad idea), at least it gives you some sort of concrete starting point. All the best with your upcoming appointments and treatment.

You did NOT intrude! You are welcome here anytime.  I hope we were of some help in some small way. We didn't mean to bombard you with anxiety thoughts and not consider your physical symptoms.

Please let us know how things go for you,

Hello and welcome to the MS forum,

As the others said , it doesn't sound much like MS symptoms but we are not doctors and cannot diagnose over the internet. But we can share what knowledge we do have on MS and some on anxiety and cardiac as well since we have members who have experienced one or the other.

Your symptoms do fit anxiety , in my opinion, but seizures also fit the bill. I would definitely have this checked out with an EEG and by a competent neuro.

Let us know if we can be of any other help.

COMMUNITY LEADER
Hey there,

You've hit the MS community forum, you may not have intended to get our imput but sometimes any feed back can help you take some steps, anyway my two cents....

I'd be suprised if what your experiencing has anything to do with your heart, though I would think it fits with in the possibilities of something neurological going on. It does sound like seizure or epileptic activity, though there are few other possibilites and anxiety isn't out side the possibilities either but it would have to be rather low on the list.

Please do not ignore these episodes, if its your brain fizzing on you, then you need different testing to find out eg EEG, MRI etc. So please make sure you see your dr and explain everything thats happened since the first episode. I dont think its ever a good idea to accept 'anxiety causation' with out any tests to prove its not physiological, so get ever possibility checked out.

Cheers.........JJ

doesn't ring like MS to me either.
could you please break up your paragraphs rather than one big long one?  some of have difficulty following long paragraphs, both our eyes and cognitive fog have trouble with it.  thanks!

what types of doctors have you been to see so far?  other than hospital?

welcome, as someone has said, you have reached an MS forum patient to patient, but we enjoy everyone who drops by and always learn something.

keep us posted along your way, we too know how difficult diagnosis can be on occasion

I have to agree with DV that this doesn't quite fit the MS pattern.  Since you talk about having had anxiety in the past, may I suggest that you visit the Anxiety forum here at medhelp and kick this around a bit with them?  They are a great group - especially their community leader Green Lydia (give her a shout out for me, ok? )  - and they will help you sort this out and send you to the appropriate medical person.  They really are a great group.

I am so glad your son was able to stop the car and get you off the road safely.  What a frightening experience. None of us are here as professionals, so be sure to see your doctor , and do it soon.

good luck and be well,
Lulu

It almost sounds like you are having a seizure by your description. I know someone who would curl up like that during his seizures...might be something to check into with your doctor???

I'm sorry, I'm at a loss as to what to suggest.  You say you had testing in hospital  and that your blood work, EKG, etc were normal.  You've posted in a MS Forum.  What you're describing does not sound like MS.  All I can think of is to return to your GP to update them and let them konw you're symptoms are continuing.  They are in the best position to evaluate you and make the appropriate referrals.
