It could be something as simple as over-exertion, vitamin deficiency as Laura suggested, anxiety or possibly Benign Fasciculation Syndrome (BFS) ... are you training hard for something? Agreed ... doctor's visit and do your best to distract yourself with the holidays until then. Dr. Google is not your friend in this situation.
Hi there,
I'm not really sure how you got to MS or ALS with out 'also' seeing, all the other more common reasons for "muscle fatigue", "muscle weakness", "physical fatigue" etc My basic searches of your symptoms, only ever briefly mentions either cause, but that was usually way after all the many others causes.
I highly recommend you take a step back for a moment, you've become "scared" after reading worst case scenarios, and in reality it's much more likely to be one of the common explanations instead, so make an appointment with your dr and discuss all that is happening to you.
Cheers..........JJ
You're in a tough place right now - you're young, having strange symptoms and you have access to the internet where every symptom you describe is going to come back as POSSIBLE MS or ALS. That's a perfect storm combination for worry.
The symptoms you describe, especially since they came on somewhat suddenly (I'm assuming you were healthy before this) could be a chronic diseaseh as MS but they could also come from something as simple as the remnants of a virus. A virus can stay in our nervous system for an incredibly long time - upward of a year. A vitamin deficiency can alsocause these symptoms. These human bodies are awfully complex and sometimes the simplest thing can set off problems.
Your best bet at this point would be to see you physician and discuss all of these symptoms and between the two of you decide if perhaps you should be referred to a neurologist. Keep in mind that any of these diseases usually take a long while to diagnose - it is rarely a simple trip to the doctor.
I hope you get some answers, soon. It can be maddening to not feel well and have no clue as to why. ~Laura
