ms and weight

I was diagnosed with ms when I was 14 and since then my weight just fluctuates either I am too fat due to the meds or I am grossly under weight.  At this point in my life I am grossly under.  I am 32 years old and 95lbs and 5'2. Dose anyone have any suggestions.?

I tend to gain about 2# a month, but know that I take steroids for 5 days every month so thus the reason.  I usually manage to lose it if I work at it.

Carnation Instant Breakfast will put some weight on you and supply you with nutrition at the same time.  That's my daily breakfast along with my morning pills

Eat at least six meals a day of 600 calories. Have the meals prepared and ready to go. I worked with a nutritionist when I was undergoing cancer treatment. We chose six things I liked to eat , I did not really have an appetite for anything, and my friends made them up for me so I just had to microwave them. I was on a schedule like taking medication and when the hour came I ate one of the six things. You can have more than six. I drink Ensure when I won't eat anything else I like the dark chocolate the best. There is also Zicon a cococnut milk the plain is gross. There are other shakes you mix in the blender. Nuts like almonds and walnuts you buy for baking are good for snacks. I buy mine from a warehouse store. I gained twenty pounds back which is perfect BMI for me now I have to keep that weight not gain or lose.

I suggest adding some healthy calories every day, in addition to a well-balanced diet. Ensure is a good choice.

Then, assuming you are in good health, etc., enjoy yourself! Ice cream, bring it on! Many here will envy you, including me.

I have the opposite problem. Lately I have noticed consistent weight gain due to meds. I am working out and eating a healthy diet so I am very frustrated. Sorry I can't help you :(
