Thanks, I wake up with mine, its never better, even if i wake up during the night its still there. In fact, whenI wake is the worst time.  I have been taking provigil for over a year now, before that, i just slept a lot.

I know i cant do without now but I would like to someday. It costs so much money that I donrt spend on anything else.  My insurance doee give me half now, its still expensive.

I keep saying this but noone responds, i have a new Dr that is checking my thyroid again. MY last dr. just acted like it wasn a problem, but the MS clinic told me it was very low last time i talked to them.  I am just hoping .....

But , yes, provigil is worth its weight in gold..i couldnt do without it and i also hate relying on it too.

hugs, meg

Hey Meg, sorry your going through this!! I know it's tough.--But, like Doni said, I agree it really does'nt get better.  Unfortunately.--And like Doni, I can start out the mornings, "fair to midland" and within hours, I am wiped out.--Like ya did a whole day of hard labor or something.--Sometimes taking a crash nap helps just to give me a few hours of energy,  til the next needed crash.---But, I agree with Doni, ya just kinda plug along at it.---I learned real quick what times I can do certain things vs when not to.---What time of day the friend fatigue will most likely come.---For me, I better do all I can in the mornings, cuz by noon--it's toast time.----What time of day is your fatigue starting to rear its ugly head?  And is there a specific thing that seems to bring it on?---Well, I truly hope you can find some releif some how--some way.---Keep us posted-----

Hi Meg,

I'm undx, but NO, it never gets better, or hasn't for the last 2 yrs.  Even if I start the day by not being badly fatigued, it doesn't take it but a couple of hrs to get bad.

Doesn't seem to matter what I do, the fatigue is always bad.  Some days I just fight through it and do what I need to do, like during the holidays.  But, low and behold, do I ever pay for it!!!

I don't take anything and others have mentioned they take Provogil and that it really helps.  I don't have health ins so I couldn't afford the script.  Have you checked with your dr about maybe trying this?

Good luck, and hope the fatigue will give you a break.
