hip bone pain

Hi everyone,

I drove my mother to my sisters house where she is leaving at the present,.  She is going to move to my town at this retirement center here.  I spent the night at my sisters and my hip bone hurt all night long.

It is on the left side and all my problems are on the right. I didnot even have any motrin or IBporopin.

When I got home I slept on a heating pad and no more trouble at the present.  I guess it is just my arthritis.

Guess what everyone week before last they finally put my EEG on my chart and put it on the doctors desk and I still have not heard anything.  I really thought this neuro would be great.  They get huffy if you call alot.  I called and asked for some more samples of Lyrica because they wanted me to take them  I had one pill left after calling the nurse and asking for prescription or samples.

I called the clinic again wanting to pick up prescripion while I was in town with my mother and she had a angiogram.  The nurse called me all in a huff and then when I picked up the package she had for me the receptionist said so I guess she got your message because I havenot had a chance to give her your message.  I just looked at her and left.

I just wonder if they want me as a patient?  Maybe I should find another or try to go to the ms doctor to get a lp done?  What do you all think?

Like someone else said here earlier, maybe the staff at the front desk is challenging, but is your doctor okay? Are you getting what you need? Are you being listened to and cared for? But if he hasn't even dealt with your EEG yet, I don't know.........??

I think if you have access to an MS clinic, see if you can get in to them. If you turn out to not have MS, then at least you've gone to the people who would know more than a neuro who isn't telling you your test results in a timely manner.

I hope things are okay for your Mom. Good news on the gallbladder and angiogram!

Yes, moms gallbladder is ok and the angiogram is good.  I am so thankful.  Yes, trying to get her moved is very stressful at the present but...maybe when my brother and sister can help it well be better.

I am going to call them tomorrow and if they are rude I wil ask them if they want me as a patient.

You have had a tough time lately!  I'm I thinking this correctly that your mom did not have to have her gallbladder taken out?  Is she doing better?

I don't know what to tell you about the doctor situation.  It's kinda hard to accept that you still don't have your results yet!  So sorry hun.  Maybe once your mom is settled you can concentrate on YOU.

Is the Lyrica helping you?
