Hi-

As JJ said, it's important to know what is causing the pain in order to treat it effectively. If it's mechanical than antiinflammatories may help. If it's nerver realted other meds can help, as nerve pain tends not to respond to anti-inflammatories.

WHat kind of doc are you seeing?

Kyle

Hi and welcome,

There are many different issues eg varicose, arthritis, fibro, nerve damage, injury, circulation, blood clot etc etc that can cause a throbbing and or burning pain, have you had any tests done to determine if there is anything specific to the leg that's abnormal?

Cheers.........JJ
