lower back pain

Has this happened to anyone here before:

At night, while I'm laying there before falling asleep, I get a HUGE lightning bolt of pain in the center of my lower back. It hurts so bad, all I can do is hold my breath for a second and then cry. (this has happened 3x so far in the past few weeks)

It's equivalent to my TN pain at it's worst.

Anyone relate to this?

Thanks, kelly

I've been having back pain as well - much more serious than my usual stiffness.  I've been taking Flexaril to treat the occassional spasm.

I have been having intense back pain for the last few weeks. Thought is was an older pain I have from time to time in my back but this is much different. I am having Intense pain in my neck all the way down to my lower back to go along with my other MS symptoms.
