I guess this was inevitable wasn't it???

Like I haven't got enough going on in my body right now...embarrasing as it is, I now have a yeast infection to go along with all the other troubles!  As I said, I guess it was inevitable with the steroids and the antibiotics for the sinus and bronchial infections...but WHY ME AND WHY NOW???!!!   Arrrrrgh!!!!

I have gotten the glucose monitor and will be checking my blood again shortly and I will let you know the results.  I then have to go to the drugstore AGAIN (why don't they just move into my basement I often wonder?) to get something for the Y-infection...what the heck is next I wonder...as I have said before I think the steroids are a case of the cure being worse than the initial problem!  (not really but hey...we all need to b***** occasionally right?

Lots of Hugs,
Rena

Hey honey....thanks for your input on this subject....you are helpful as always my dear!  I purchased a monitor yesterday and will test during my next attack and I am keeping track of all of my symptoms, my meals, the times etc. so I willhave something to give the dr. when she doesn't know what is going on as usual!  hehe  As I said honey, thanks for your help and I will let you know what is happening ok?

Lots of Hugs,
Rena

Might I suggest if you suffer form another episode of hypoglcemia, that you try and get a blood glucose sample DURING the "attack."  It will really tell you what is going on, so you can report it to your doctor.

You can get more information about hypoglycemia at this web address:

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypoglycemia

I hope it helps to give a little better understanding of what is going on.

Big Hugs and best wishes,
Heather
