WELCOME TO OUR CYBER FAMILY AND YES YOU ARE AN ANGEL,YOUR BOTH IN GOOD CARING HANDS HERE.

MS EFFECTS ALL OF US DIFFERENTLY,BUT ITS LIVEABLE,MANY HAVE FLAIR-UPS AND GO INTO REMISSION FOR MONTHS TO A FEW YEARS.

TODAY WITH THE DISEASE MODIFYING MEDS--REBIF,COPAXONE,AVONEX AND BETASERON.THESE MEDS SLOW DOWN THE PROGRESSION.

THERES A FEW OTHER MEDS AND MEDS IN TRIAL.

HOW ARE YOU AND YOUR HUSBAND HANDLING THE DIAGNOSIS.IT TAKES TIME FOR IT TO SINK IN.WHEN I RECEIVED MY DX I WAS ANGRY,BUT FOUND OUT I AM STILL ME.

ONCE AGAIN I'M GLAD YOU FOUND US,SORRY THE DIAGNOSIS BROUGHT YOU HERE.WE ARE A GREAT GROUP HERE.VERY MANY LOVING AND CARING PEOPLE.

Welcome to the forum! You and your husband are in good hands here. To answer your question, we would need more info about what symptoms he's had so far. MS does not effect everyone in the same way.

Can you tell us more?

Hi,TNAngel!  Welcome to our forum!  I'm glad you found us.  We're happy to have you!

I am sorry, however to hear of your husband's diagnosis.  MS is one of those diseases that takes a different course in each patient.  It's so strange and uniquie that way.  Because different areas of the brain act up, different parts of the body are affected with symptoms.  Everyone's experience with MS is unique.

How is your husband feeling now?  WHat was it that made him go see a doctor?  What kinds of symptoms does he have?

I hope he's feeling well.  The shock of a diagnosis can take a while to get  over, I'm sure, for the both of you.  I also hope that his doctor has talked about disease modifying drugs.  Have you discussed them at all?  Is he receiving treatment?

There are so many here who are diagnosed already (I am not) and can help you with so many questions you'll have.  Please feel welcome to ask anything you want.  That's what we're here for.

And we can share a laugh, a cry, a pint (or quart) of cyber ice cream!

Take care, and I hope we hear back from you soon!
