optic neuritis

I'm sure I have optic neuritis. I have had it before 14'years ago. I had some eye pain although not severe like last time. My pupil went big and now is normal size in the night, but in dimmed light it gets bigger. My vision seems ok, although has been slightly blurred. After a bath or when im tired it becomes more blurred. Does this sound like it? Also do they need to dilate my pupil to see what's going on.

Hi Ghost,

No-one can dx ON, or suggest it here online. If you had this dx'd inthe past, then if it were me, I'd go back to doctor who dx'd it initially.  You need your vision, and need to know what may, or may not be going on.

Blurry vision can be caused by many things, as can pain in the eyes - important to get this looked at by a professional.

Thanks for trusting us to thoughts.

if your doctor has the new procedure where the computer takes a picture of it, no dilation, it sees EVERYTHING in layers.  Most have it, its an opti- something......am sure someone on here knows, it being the weekend, it may be awhile before you get a reply
