Cold feeling on buttocks/thigh crease?

I have been looking around and can't find an answer anywhere. Today out of nowhere I have had this cold feeling on my buttock close to my inner thigh crease. Everywhere I've looked around have described it as "tingly" but it's not, it just feels cold, no pain or itchiness. Its almost like peppermint oil on the skin without the tingles. Nowhere else feels like this, and I'm worried this could be prodromal for genital herpes, as that's the only thing I'm seeing. This is happening around my period, so I can't say my headache or sore throat are connected, because getting sick are my usual PMS symptoms. I am sexually active and use condoms, but I realize that isn't 100% effective. This is the first time this has happened that I can remember, and I'm worried. I also have an IUD if that's useful to anyone. I have an appointment to get tested in a month, but if anyone thinks this is an emergency, let me know
