Thanks for your input. I am still waiting on my appt time for the CT scan and called today to report the new symptom of tingling and numbness. I am waiting to hear back on that as well.

The most probable cause of the symptoms that you have mentioned is Multiple sclerosis. Other causes could be brain tumour or Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. Multiple sclerosis is a demyelinating disease that affects the nerves of the brain and spine. The symptoms are- brain fog, memory problems, numbness and tingling, headaches, muscle weakness and many others. Please go for the CT scan. MRI is more detailed and accurate.
