I have had migraines for about 36 years, But about 32 years ago i started experiencing these spells that was like a stroke. I will go numb so i cant move my eyes will row back in my head my speech is slurred it usual only occurs on 1 side, so my eye and mouth will droop. I'm always confused and usually don't remember thing for hours. i have had even small lapses of amnesia. Seen a lot of specialist, been treated for epilepsy didn't really help, said it was caused by my migraine's but i can have thees spells without having a migraine. i have a lot of memory loss. can some one please help me figure out whats wrong with me?

This discussion is related to migraine headache vs. seizure headache.

Chronic migraines can lead to serious problems.
Wow 36 years! How did you manage to endure something so severe for so long?
You are at a higher risk than average to get strokes, HBP, heart disease,
dementia, brain issues, depression and chronic stress and other nasty stuff.
After my second horrific car accident -someone ran the red light and T-boned me-I developed AWFUL migraines! I was afraid my head was going to explode at times.
What I used was feverfew capsules 3 times a day, went back to my organic ACV drink (2T ACV, 500ML fitered water,1t baking soda, 1T honey and 1 Bromelain Tablet ) and took Looong walks daily, lol!, as I was hypersensitive to anything and everything and my migraines would become even more intense. Within days it got better and within a few weeks everything was back to normal except my cracked ribs and bruised kidney - couldn't blame that on the migraines!
Oh, I forgot to mention that I've always used Visualization and Meditation
for anything that I wanted. It was the Eastern Healing Arts influence of the 70s that prompted me to take this direction and it proved to be a huge factor in my life.
Taking B-complex and Magnesium supplementation would also help.
Transdermal Magnesium Chloride is one of the best ways to get your magnesium levels up. Look it up or let me know if you need details.
Note: Feverfew and Bromelain are natural blood thinners, so if you're on any blood thinners, then you must talk to your Doctor before.
Hope this helps.
