hi, the other causes for dizziness and pressure feeling could be vestibulopathy (inner ear disorder), sinusitis, cervical spondylosis etc.
Hi, most likely it is tension headache may or may not associated with vertigo. “Tension headache may cause you to experience a dull, achy pain or sensation of tightness in your forehead or at the sides and back of your head. Many people liken the feeling to having a tight band of pressure encircling their heads. In its most extensive form, the pain feels like a hooded cape that drapes down over the shoulders. The headache is usually described as mild to moderately intense. The severity of the pain varies from one person to another and from one headache to another in the same person. Many people report that the pain starts first thing in the morning or late in the day when work stress or conflict at home is anticipated”.

Hi, tumors generally occupy some space in brain as a result they compress adjoining tissue resulting in compromise of physical function controlled by compressed area causing symptoms like limb weakness, vomiting, imbalance, ringing in ears, blurred vision etc.
MRI is usually done for diagnosing tumors. For more information visit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brain_tumor
hi paul,
thank you for some insights in relation to what i feel now.but you dont eloborate what kind of abnormality you got after years of accident. i just want to know.as well, what are those symptoms youve experience so that i could correlate it with what im having now.i hope you could give me some insights further.thank you.
good day doctor.
thank you so much for the insights..but hopefully you wont mind if i had to ask more.because this morning im having this dizziness with my parietal area and my frontal area is like being squeezed.i had also this feeling of heaviness at the base of my skull with some slight muscle rigidity at my neck.i have taken olfen tab for anti inflamatory already and i guess inflamation is gone.doctor, please do give me some insights about brain tumors; its signs and symptoms, possible causes.sorry i may sound a sort of having this paranoia but i hope you wont mind to bear with me as a patient like me being so worried about my situation.i just want to evaluate myself base on your insights before i see a neurologist next week.thank you and more power.i will really appreciate your help.
i get exact same dull ache i same area.got mri done and it showed an abnormality from car accident i had 30yrs ago.neuroligist reckons this is the cause. At time of accident this was not noticed
Hi, to me it seems to be superficial swelling, nothing to do with brain. This could be due to nerve damage, contusion, fibrosis etc. Try anti inflammatory drugs, heat application and also get MRI done.
As you don’t have neurological deficit, vomiting etc, it is unlikely to be tumor.
