IS ANY THING FATAL....PLS SUGGEST

Current Symptoms:
dizziness, difficult to concentrate for long (like an hour or two), feeling as if head and face are filled with air(pressure in head)

Hi,

I am 26 yrs old guy.

I had a chest infection and anxiety attach in nov 2006. With fear i did over breathing for about

30 minutes before reaching hospital. I had a fear of death because i was unable to breath due to

chest pain and infection. Later chest infection was treated with antibiotics and cured.

But after a month since then i started feeling dizziness when i walk. I managed with it. After 6

months with dizziness then i slowly started getting discomfortness in my head when i see TV for

long or worK on computer for long. I still managed then after a year i started finding

difficulty having my mind active for long time....i feel very difficult to concentrate for long.
I need to keep rubbing my head and massaging to feel little better.

Current Symptoms:
dizziness, difficult to concentrate for long (like an hour or two), feeling as if head and face

is filled with air(pressure).

Tests done: I took a CT plain scan of head long back (may be a 9 motnhs back)and doctor said on

issues. They checked blood pressure and said it is normal.

PLEASE HELP ME TO COME OUT OF THIS PROBLEM.

I wonder if the fear of death is playing a big part here.  A lot of the symptoms you describe are related to severe anxiety.  Because of how you've described this, I would deal with the anxiety first, then, if the symptoms persist, you know to look further into other possible cause.  Doctors are reluctant to prescribe medication for anxiety, because it is so easy to become dependant.  But maybe with a say a week's treatment on something like valium you can be calm and then you will know whether the other symptoms are related or not.  If it is anxiety after all,  and the drugs relieve the symptoms, don't continue valium, as it will ultimately cause you problems again.  Instead learn relaxation techniques, and get counselling for your feelings about death and illness.  It's horrible to contemplate, but one day, like us all, you will die.  Every one of us has our own way of dealing with this inevitability, be it through religion, denial, or resignation.  But obsessing about it is not benefiting you, as this is a problem you cannot solve.  So why not just concentrate on the present, plan for the future, and if you don't make it, join the club, none of us make it.  All that you can change is your feelings.
