Thank you for your reply. I have had the sleep studies and I am setting up a home EEG asap. At least my Neuro will be able to see what happens and at the same time note electrical activity in the brain. Hopefully we will get to the bottom of this. As far as psychological, I am sure that is not it. I wonder if it is some sort of Dystonia.or Myoclonus.
Hi!
I am sorry to hear about your medical problems. The symptoms could be due to an imbalance between the rapid eye movement and the non-rapid eye movement during sleep. So, since you have sleep apnea, please ask your sleep specialist regarding this. You may need sleep studies to look into this.
If your sleep apnea is not controlled properly, then it can cause low oxygen to brain. This can have a negative psychological and neurological impact.
Also, certain psychological disorders can precipitate this involuntary talking. Hence, it is important to get a complete neuro-psychiatric assessment. Take care!
