Looking for some help with my constant headaches.

Well i want to start by saying that i am 18 years old and have been suffering with these really bad headaches for about 4 years. I know that everyone get headaches and migraines but when i get them it always seems like something is wrong.  I started to go to a neurologist about two years ago but after two visits i stopped going because he was claiming that my headaches/ migraines where related to food i ate which i know is not true. The migraine that i've been having is a throbbing one that comes with sudden burst of pain in my ear and the current neurologist im going to said its from these nerves in my ear. They also come with black outs in my vision and dizziness. I've had a mri and mra for them and they have come up clear. I've been recently having numbness in my left hand and left leg that is really uncountable and i don't know if thats related. I have alot of nerve issues because of my erb's palsy which caused me to have alot of foot problems and partial blindness in my left eye. If anyone can help that would be great im just really tired of being in pain all the time. My doctor already has me on 50mg of topamax which i take once a day and 150mg of trileptal that i take twice a day.
                                                                                                  Sincerely,
                                                                                                       Catherine M.

Hi, Thank you for your question. For constant headaches, possibilities like migrainous, cluster, tension, tumor, pinched nerve in cervical spine and refractive errors that need to be evaluated thoroughly with the help of a neurologist here. Migraine like headache can be throbbing, one sided of face & head and preceded by aura (starts with blurred vision). Cluster headache may appear as burning, explosive in nature and tear appears from eyes. Tension headache originates with stress and anxiety disorder. Please arrange an appointment with a neurologist right away who will evaluate the further underlying disorders by clinically examine you & ordering MRI or CT scan here that may be the main reasons of your headache attacks & other symptoms and can provide you an appropriate treatment. Hope this information proves helpful to you. Take Care & Regards!!!
