Hi.

I met with an accident and found there was hair line crack in tibia and ankle sprain with bruising.
fibrecast was made on the leg from ankle to till thigh for 21 days.

Fibrecast was removed before 10 days, Now calf musle is stiff and I feel it is cramp - and it is existing from last 10 days. I am using ice pack for this.

Can any one Pls suggest whether I need to worry about this or not.

Will it cure itself, Till what time it may exist.

Well, it's possible you have Restless Legs Syndrome, which you can do a search for a website devoted to only that disorder, and you can see if your symptoms line up for that.  There are medications for it.  But I think you said your leg swells and your extremities get numb, so could be a circulation problem rather than a neurological problem, so you could try posting over in the heart disease forum... it may not be your heart, but those people would know more about arterial abnormalities.

Hi,

Peripheral arterial diseases is defined as obstruction of large peripheral arteries due to  a thrombus or an embolus. It usually affects the legs.
There are many risk factors for PAD. They include smoking, diabetes, high BP, obesity and high cholesterol levels.
Generally these risk factors are more common in elderly but sometimes they are present in the young people as well.
Can you think of any of these risk factors in your case?
Do let me know if you need more information.

Hello Dear,
You should consult  a neuro physician as there could be some degenerative changes in the spine causing the cramps. You should go for a MRI  and nerve conduction studies to find out the cause and come to a diagnosis.Yoga and back extension exercises may help you.You should go for a complete neurological evaluation.
