Frequently neuropathy is from no known cause (idiopathic) see:

Has your husband had EMG's and Nerve Conduction Studies?
Sometimes a neurologist will order a spinal tap to examine spinal fluid for elevated proteins, and/or nerve biopsy to check extent of nerve damage.
Alternative for getting the feet/legs better. The pranayam will send extra oxygen to all parts of the body, and gradually help the feet recover. The feet exercise will help as well in combination.Do this daily and allow weeks to notice benefits.
Build up your timing gradually. If you feel tired or dizzy, stop and resume after one minute.
Kapalbhati pranayam-(Do it before eating) Push air forcefully out through the nose about once per second. Stomach will itself go in(contract in). The breathing in(through the nose) will happen automatically. Establish a rhythm and do for 20 to 30 minutes twice a day. Children under 15 years – do 5 to 10 minutes twice a day.
Not for pregnant women. Seriously ill people do it gently.
Anulom Vilom pranayam –
Close your right nostril with thumb and deep breath-in through left nostril
then – close left nostril with two fingers and breath-out through right nostril
then -keeping the left nostril closed deep breath-in through right nostril
then - close your right nostril with thumb and breath-out through left nostril.
This is one cycle of anulom vilom.
Repeat this cycle for 15 to 30 minutes twice a day.
Children under 15 years – do 5 to 10 minutes twice a day.
You can do this before breakfast/lunch/dinner or before bedtime or in bed.Remember to take deep long breaths into the lungs. You can do this while sitting on floor or chair or lying in bed.
Feet exercise
Sit on the floor, with the legs straight.
Bend and release the toes of the feet 10 times.
Bend the feet forward and backwards 10 times.
Rotate both feet clockwise and anti-clockwise 10 times.
Move both feet left and right 10 times(like car wipers).
Press your knees down 5 times, so the kneecap moves.
Do these twice a day.
Hi
no vaccinations no diabetes no thyroid tested for all. Its just puzzling
Ive had aches in my hands and feet since a vaccination 8 weeks ago. It has got better but I am still not right yet. I'm waiting for a referral for assessment. Did your husband have a vaccination just before he got neuropathy? There are other types which can cause it for example diabetes neuropathy and thyroid. hope this helps
