Please Help! IM At my breaking point

Hello i am very concerned and need advise! I have been dealing with a lot of head pain and scary symptoms for the past month and have been going to doctors who just cant find anything wrong. Today i was cleaning out my closet when i found a jar of spoiled old ranch potato chip dip! I must have forgot it in a bag and the jar lid was open with black stuff leaking out. Inside the jar it was all black and looked like mold or something. I was wondering if that could be the cause of my problems!? I didnt eat the spoiled food obviously but can i have gotten sick by the leakage of some kind of food poison or mold into the air??? If so then what do i have to tell the doctor to get help!? Thank you sincerely

Hello, I only started getting Trigeminal neuralgia and cluster headaches after living in Houston and now Corpus Christi for the past 7 years. My attacks always appear after a good rain and the new mold is eliminated by sunlight. All  the mold gets churned up and I suffer for a few days until the humidity drops. The doctors were baffled , but prescribed Maxalt , which is a rizatriptan and it works decently to abort the pain before it gets serious. My front yard is waterfront and my home has a mold issue , yet my attacks start only after it rains. I am convinced beyond doubt that this is the culprit. You might consider a dehumidifier in your home.    Xzavyur

Hi there!

Well, without a detailed description of the symptoms or a detailed clinical evaluation it would be difficult to determine the cause of your symptoms. The jar mould is unlikely to be related though.
Headaches can be caused by a variety of reasons often categorized into primary headaches, secondary headaches, and cranial neuralgias. The primary headaches include tension headache, migraine cluster headaches and similar pathologies. Secondary causes can be due to sinusitis eye problems, etc and the cranial neuralgias that include the trigeminal neuralgias. Without a clinical evaluation it would be difficult to differentiate between these or suggest specific management. I would suggest getting this evaluated by a primary care physician initially and depending on the cause diagnosed/ suspected, it can be managed accordingly or specialist care may be sought.
Hope this is helpful.

Take care!
