Hi,
I am new on this board. I have been going through so many tests without answers and I am very anxious.
For the last few months I thought, any day now, my Neuro was going to call me to tell me that I have MS. Now I dont know.
Symptoms & Tests.
3 MRI's in the last 6 months - lesions, neoropathy, etc.
Migraines for 20 years
Arms and legs go numb, tingle, loss of strenght, especially right arm
RIght Optical nerve damage - glacoma ruled out.
Profoundly tired
Dry eyes
WInded even going up one flight of stairs
Pernious Anemia - B12 injections weekly
48 female, mom, wife, accountant.
Active until recently because I am increasingly tired.
On Friday morning I left work early because I was feeling weak and my Neuro tracked me down on my cell phone. He wanted me to proceed immediately to the Hospital to get a CT Scan with Contrast. He said the blood test he gave me showed an abnormal reading for the test called Voltage-Gated Calcium Channels.
The CT Scan results I was told ruled out Pulmary Embolism. But the Neuro was going to call me Monday to go over 'other things'. Upon my web searching, I pulled up Myasthenia Gravis. Does anyone have any more thoughts? I want to be prepared for tomorrow.
Thank you,
Jean
