Sever head pain

Please Help! My husband as been suffering from severe head pain.  It started on July 19, 2008. Symptons:  severe head pain on right side of head, severe ear pain and pressure, un-contollable facial movements (sticking out tongue), fatigue, speech sometimes slurs, dis-oriented, foregettful, itching & tingling sensations in head, can not lay head down at all has to sleep sitting up, not hearing well, head and hand shaking, sweating and chills.
The first time went to the doctor on july 19th, told him he had a sinus infection and sent him home with amoxicillan.
1 week later he was worse and took him to an urgent care, did ex-rays of his sinuses, told us he had mastoiditis? sen him home with cipro, steroids, naproxen, and flonase.  Was told if he is no better in 3 days to go to the ER.  Not better on 3rd day, he went to the ER, Doctor told him there was nothing wrong with the ears or sinuses and sent him home with no answers.  The same night he was in so much pain from his ears and head I took him to a different ER.  The doctor states the same thing, nothing wrong, but hear it is a different antibiotic and darvasets?  by this time we are both very frustrated.  I schedule an apoointment with an ENT on august 15th, I went him to the ENT and told him everything that is going on as I'm keeping a journal.  His says he does not have fluid on 1 ear and too much on another also states he has a deviated septum, schedules a pressure test on ears and passes.  Does anyone have any idea what is on the ENT seems to believe this is all do to his sinuses?  He does suffer from sinus infections about 3-4 a year, but I have never seen anyone suffer like this from sinuses?
I did schedule him an neurology appointment which is 1 month away.  He is in so much pain, we don't know what to do anymore is it worth taking him to the ER again with no answers?. THANKS

Hi-
One thought-Was meningitis ruled out and did they do a spinal tap? Just asking because I got meningitis a few months ago and the symptoms were similar. It ended up being asceptic and they did not know the cause. But the headaches were just awful.
