Help me understand my MRI results

Hi,  I went to the emergency room with tingling in my limbs. I am a 44 year old female.

They performed a head MRI and found the following results:

There is no acute infarct demonstrated on diffusion weighted images.  There is a focus of increased FLAIR/T2 signal in the left parietal lobe measuring 8 mm which is non specific.

There is abnormal diminished signal involving a majority of the clivus.

There is a small poly/retention cyst left maxillary sinus measuring 1 cm along the anterior wall.

There is no otherwise, abnormal mass, mass effect or edema demonstrated with the brain parenchyma.

My main questions and concerns are related to the clivus.  What can this be, other than a tumor?  If there anything benign that can show up as a diminished signal?  The radiologist suggested a bone scan, but the neurologist and my family doctor don't seem concerned.  I wish I could feel the same.

Thanks so much for your help.  BTW I was diagnosed with Lyme disease a year ago - not sure if any of this is related.

Thanks again,
