Pulsating Sensation in Head

Hello--

For about 8 weeks now I have been experiencing a pulsating sensation in my head. I can feel it all around my head and even feel the "heartbeat" sensation when I put my hand on it. I went to my Dr about 8 weeks ago and he thought it was possibly thyroid related b/c I have recently been diagnosed with slight graves disease and have been put on very low dose of hyperthyroid medicine. After taking the pills for about 3 weeks it got significantly less (the pulsation) but this week it is back and stringer than ever. I cant feel it almost everywhere in my body when laying down or put pressure on a certain body part. At night when I lay down to go to sleep I can actually hear my heart beating through my chest. My pulse is very normal but my pulse itself, is extremely strong. I am going to go back to my Dr and see what is happening to me b/c I don't feel right. My head feels heavy somehow as well. I'm 30 yrs old, very healthy and have no history of anything but thyroid issues in my family. My thyroid levels have stabilized as well.

After 8 day of regular medicine, the sensation of pulsating in had is reduced.  my doctor have prescribed me RJUNEX OD & FLUNARIN 10 mg. It has shown good result . Please consult your neurologist.
The causes of this can be anything . Doctor also advised to do Yoga.

Hi Dr. Thank you very much for your response. The interesting thing is that I am not experiencing any pain or headaches. It is just a string pulse pretty much all over my body but especially in my head. I am very aware of the "blood rushing through" and cant feel every beat. I have called my PCP and he is referring me to a cardiologist to see what the string pulse like sensations are.

Thanks again!
