Trembling

I wake up and tremble . I tremble for no reason later in the day. This is everyday. I am being treated for anxiety and depression and PTSD. I was told I have nerve damage. I have Scoliosis and back problems.
My psychiatrist seems to think it's anxiety and I know it's not. Yes, I do shake when have anxiety too, real bad. I think it's more of a neurological problem. I'm always tired. I get confused easily. Short term memory. I've never been this bad. It seems it just came on within the last year. I can't drive and feel like I can't do anything with the shakes, except take klonipin, and go back to bed. I sleep alot. I never really hungry. I walk around the house, and feel exhausted. I don't feel like I'm getting the right treatment.
Please, I need some professional opinions of what this may be, or what should I do. Should I go see a neurologist?
Help???!!!!

I do the same thing. It awful. It to me feels like it's coming from inside my chest. I also have back problems like had C5 diskectomy '06 and since then my rt.arm doesn't work and it hurts in my shoulder as well. My hands and feet stay numb and I can't get any help.I don't understand.Looks like the docs would keep a patient, admitted in hosp.,and run any and all test to find an answer, but no.I have been back to the same hosp.,well it's my Neurosurgen's location, but it has a hosp.on second floor where I had my surgery. So,I feel there is no reason they can't take me in and fix what I feel they messed up.I just hate to go back there since they're the one's who made me this way. Search until you find a doc, with a good bed side manner(who'll talk to u),that seems to be eager enough to find the answer. Hope u get there. I am still marching on. yeah, like Mr.Tudball off of Carol Burnette.Baby steps...You'll get there. If you need me,I'm here...K

Hi,

Thanks for posting.
This does not seem to be a serious neurological problem because in that case your symptoms would be rapidly progressing and your condition would have deteriorated.
However fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome do seem to be the likely possibilities. Since you have not consulted a neurologist as yet it will help to undergo a neurological exam just to rule out the possibility of neurological lesions.

Thanks
