What can I do

I was diagnosed with Bells Palsy Oct 15th 2007. 2 weeks later I woke up with extreme vertigo nausea, vomiting, disorientation and dizzines.  My doctor diagnosed Ramsey-Hunt Syndrome.  Since then the face paralysis has gone completley (hooray) the extreme vertigo is gone however I continue to be disoriented and have dizzy spells.  My walking is effected in that I have real difficulty with my balance - I sometimes am literally "bouncing" off the walls. I have numbness in my right arm and hand.  I have had a MRI and a CAT scan and both have come back clear.  So my question is this.... can anyone offer an alternative diagnosis for these symptons as it seems to me even with pretty much complete rest this condition is not abating at all.

I had terrible bell's palsy and blindness and loss of taste, I still can't taste food.  I also had vertigo and dizziness lying down or standing up.
Recently I've been having terrible problems speaking or even understanding speech and hearing loss in both years.  Is this RH?  I'm worried I won't be able to work or study

Can Ramsey cause this and should I treat it with valtrex?

I've been through that as well. Ramsey Hunt was a pretty bad experience. I would suggest going to see a Psychiatrist and talk to them about your situation. I would think that something such a benzodiazepine medicine would calm you a bit as well make you feel better. I am no doctor but I would look into it.
