White spot on MRI - something to worry about? Image included

A few years ago my father was sent to hospital after one half of his face went numb. They concluded that it was not a stroke but some sort of nerve problem. That was when doctors discovered that he has a white spot on his brain. They were not sure what it could be so they recommended to just wait and see how it goes.

Today he went trough his second MRI (the second I know about) with more or less the same results. The report from the doctor says that it doesn't look like it was caused by a stroke and that it could be some sort of leftover blood (methemoglobin). But it also says that they can't rule out a possible tumor which got me worried.

I would like to kindly ask anybody with necessary knowledge to look at his MRI scans and provide me with his/her second-opinion on what it could be.

I was diagnosed with Hemiplegic migraines after being admitted to the hospital with stroke like symptoms at the age of 26. My MRI shows a few white spots, but in the frontal lobes. I have not had a follow up MRI but I have been told that they do occur with migraines. I also was told that they are more common as you get older. I also worry about whether or not this is normal or if it's actual scarring that will affect me eventually.

sorry I can't read an MRI but I had a similar problem. the right half of my face went numb with a bit of tingling last Fall after I got some strange infection. the numbness in face was coincidental with mild pain/pulse on top of the head on the same side.

before that happened I had a week-long headache. even before that I had like water leaking from the nose.

my MRI was negative although I see a white spot on top of the brain when looking at the profile but not where you dad has one.
