anyone on Lyrica

Doc put me on Lyrica but after 4 days, I stopped.  I was eating everything in sight.  My hands and feet were swollen, I was dizzy, my mind was not working, so I stopped it.  Anyone else with this experience???

Me too, I take 200mg daily, began with 75mg.  I noticed the side effects you mentioned at first, but they don't bother me now.  I had swelling in general, particularly my hands and feet.  I pay no attention to that anymore.  My biggest side effect was loss of balance for a couple hours after I took it, and I still can't drive for a while when I take my dose, but I have made adjustments for that.  Lyrica is a great medicine for what ails you, I feel so much better, it numbed the nerve pain from a back injury, so now I can think more clearly and do more things.  I agree with Harry, perhaps if you started on a lower dose and worked your way up, you would get some benefit from Lyrica.  It's a great drug.

Yup, I take 175mg a day and sweeling does occurr at the begining but things should get better. Hope he started you off on the low dose, I think it's 25mg twice daily if not you'll get what you got. It does work for me.
