constant twitch on my nose

I don't even know how to begin this; I can't see any reason for this to happen. About two weeks ago one spot on the left side of my nose would twitch randomly, like I was trying to snarl. But for the last week it's been almost an all day thing. There'll be a few breaks where it won’t twitch for a few minutes but then it starts right back up. I’m 20 years old, I haven't been sick, I haven't been injured, I don't think I’m stressed or annoyed enough to develop a twitch and it's not causing me any health problems accept for seriously starting to irritate me so I can't see any reason to see a specialist. I don't take anything, I’m not a drinker or smoker or junkie or anything that could be considered a bad habit, I’m not obese, I have no diseases, I haven't even been the hospital for my own health. I'm trying to give any information that could help me find an answer. I know this isn't anything serious or can easily be lived with or maybe will just go away, but I have never had a twitch for more than a few seconds and the feeling like the left side of my face is in a constant snarl is really wearing on my nerves and is making me want to rip the side of my face off. Please can anyone give me some answers? I really don't want this to be an every day thing...

This might be due to a magnesium deficiency.
You can eat foods high in magnesium, like almonds, or take a supplement.
If you google for magnesium deficit twitch, you'll find many articles.

Wishing you the best,

Unfortunately I know the type of twitch you're speaking about.  I call it my 'bunny nose'.  Looks like a bunny moving it's nose up and down.  I don't know the reason for it, but I've had it within the last month or so.  It comes and goes.  I do have neurological problems, but have had other twitches that were caused by fatigue.

No answers for you, just someone who understands 'bunny nose'.  Try not to pay attention to it as much and maybe it will disappear.  You're probably stressing out over it, which may be making it worse.  Good luck!
