A quick tingling in hands/fingers only when I take a deep breath or sneeze???

Has anyone ever experienced this?  Does anyone know what this could be a sign of?

Thanks!

I believe you have nerve compression in your neck that is aggravated by the pressure of a sneeze or a deep breath.  I have experienced the same symptoms. I have a decent diet and no other issues that might cause this.

Hello--thanks for responding!  My diet is poor, I have to admit.  I just started on a multi-vitamen.  I'm a busy stay at home mom who will sometimes skip meals out of simply tending to the needs of others and not myself.....trying to change that.  I will pig out at night on mostly sweets because I have a serious sweet tooth and not to mention, i'm famished from not eating enough calories during the day.

I don't have any pains in my hands...ever. My neck (and shoulders) ALWAYS have knots in them.....always thought it was from carring heavy babies, heavy purses and diaper bags.  I have an Aunt with diabetes.  I am a 34 year old female.  Not proud to admit but I am a closet smoker....I was always scared that had something to do with the tingling.  However, the tingling occured too when I didn't touch cigerettes during my 2 pregnancies and breastfeeding.  No consistant headaches....other than occasion sinus problems.

I asked my doctor about this a long time ago and his guess was pockets of air(something like that???) near my spinal cord that will give me this tingling sensation???  He called it something....don't remember.  I really didn't understand but he said nothing to worry about.  Not sure if this is a big enough deal that I should get a second opinion.

Have you heard of this?

Hi, well that is incidental finding but tingling in hands could be due to low calcium levels, neuropathy either due to nerve compression or vitamin B deficiency, carpal tunnel syndrome etc.

How old are you? Any history of diabetes? Any other associated problem like neck pain, headache etc?
