hello. in august 2008 on my forearm began to grow a small tumor. it reached 1.5 cm diameter in 2 months and it was round and painless. i went to a dermatologist that said it seems to be a benign tumor and he operated me immediately. the extracted tissue was taken in anatomo-pathology lab an the result was "neuroma; specific for the place it was found" . the doctor said the diagnostic is a lil bit strange, but to be relax, because he cleaned very well the tissue. i want to mention that 1 - 2 months before the tumor appeared, i give blood for analises from the same forearm, and the nurse had to ***** me a few times because my artera was deep and she couldnt found it. i read on the net that it is possible to appear a neuroma from catheter insertion. now, after 7 months, the place is ok, the tumor didnt grow again, though the scar is still a lil red. i want to know if this is an unusual situation (neuroma from venous punction) and if i have to worry for any type of malignisation or something....
