topamax.. any good luck?
has anyone had any good luck with topamax for a migraine???

I took topamax for about 6 months, and got no effect from it, at all.
I did, however, loose a few pounds, and i got the feeling of pins and needles in my hands and feet. I also could not drink anything with bubbles in it, such as soda's, sparkling water, etc.

Hi Suzanna,
I took Topamax for about 6 months and it did help prevent my migraines. The only problem was severe pins and needles in my feet and calves. Otherwise I didn't have any problems. And unfortunately, I didn't lose any weight, as the doctor claimed I would. :(
