Hi,
The symptoms of an electric wave passing through the surface of head and confusion seem to be associated with seizures. Electric wave like sensation is not associated with vertigo. It is not necessary that you have to have jerky movements and loss of consciousness during seizures. You may be conscious and have an altered state of mind during a seizure. There are many types of seizures. Please consult a neurologist who will have a close look at all the symptoms. A detailed history and investigations are a must for diagnosis. Please go for an MRI of the brain to help in diagnosis. Hope this helps you. Take care and regards!
