drop pounds

I am a 53 year old lady, in menopause, current weight 198...I have been trying to lose weight by cutting
calories and walking...I am a walker, I try and walk 30 to 60 minutes a day....I have tried 1400 calories a day
but still seem hungry especially after a walk I am shaky and weak...defeats the purpose after a nice brisk walk
to come back in and eat....
don't know what I am doing wrong....eating the wrong things? I have tried Alli and it has worked for me as it
had me eating 1700 calories a day and I found that worked for me...lost 20 pounds with it last year, but gained
it back...
Any feedback would be appreciated, thanks so much!

Generally speaking diet pills are a bad idea. I wonder where you got your appetite from. Are your parents and siblings overweight? Is this a habit that started in childhood? I have seen families where there is an enormous emphasis on food.

Do you understand why you desire more food than you need? If you could figure that out, then maybe you could drop the extra weight. Let me know your thinking. This is a problem that has become endemic and it is not well understood.

If you lost weight on 1700 calories a day, why did you gain the weight back? Did you start eating more?
