Tiffanie: I eat a high fiber diet. Three items that I supplement my meals with to make sure I get adequate fiber are: Fiber One cereal (1/2 cup has 14 grams of insoluble fiber), Natures Own makes a double fiber whole wheat bread that contains 2 grams of soluble fiber and 3 grams of insoluble fiber per slice(two slices will give you 10 grams of fiber, also, I use a clear fiber supplement that can be stirred in to your drink and you cant tell it. Two teaspoons of the supplement gives you 2 grams of soluble fiber. Now...I keep up with the fiber that is in the other fruits and veggies and grains that I eat and if I need extra fiber, I use the cereal or bread to supplement them.. For breakfast I will have a cup of oatmeal, with some strawberries or some other fruit and I will have a glass of water with the fiber supplement added and I will also have two pieces of toast made from the fiber bread... and Uuhhh I do put a little honey on the toast.. mainly cause its GOOOOD and its the only sugar I eat.. I do not use refined sugars..... any way that's what I do. Ohhh you do need to determine how many grams of fiber you should have daily....so you and make sure you eat enough fiber... Hope this helps Claytex....Oh one thing I didn't mention is that I sometimes use the Fiber One cereal in my salads instead of croutons, Ill mix a 1/4th or 1/2 cup of cereal in the salad or even soups and thing.. claytex...good luck
