Hello and welcome to MedHelp's forums. It is always hard during recovery from surgery and it does take time to heal. You should count on 6 weeks to 8 weeks until you are fully recovered after trigger finger surgery. Here is some basic info on this type of surgery for those reading https://www.webmd.com/rheumatoid-arthritis/guide/trigger-finger#1. Is your hand in a splint? Have you elevated your hand above your head to help with immflamation and swelling that may be causing this sensation of numbness? You could be perhaps having a complication post surgery. Your best source of information on this is your doctor and I recommend calling them about it. This is not to mean you are but that you should inquire. Physical therapy may be available to help in the near future.
Here is an older MedHelp thread on the same issue: https://

And this article goes through very thoroughly complications of surgery. https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/trigger-finger/treatment/ Let's hope though that you are experiencing the numbness just because it is so soon after surgery. Do follow up with your doctor and let us know what they say!
