Does hip replacement in India have effective results?

My mother is suffering from hip disorder for the past few years, Neither medicine pills, supplements nor vaccines are proving effective. Doctor suggesting hip replacement is the only option. I’d like to have a review on hip replacement if any had gone through the surgery; my friend's dad had gone through a hip replacement in India. He suggested me to go there since they provide best facilities at low and affordable cost. I want to know the reviews, Is hip replacement in India effective?
